| Volunteers are needed 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. Assistance is needed every day beginning July 19 and throughout the school year to serve breakfast and interact with children. The biggest need is currently Tues. mornings. | ||||||||
| Volunteering | The Haven | |||||||
| Volunteers are needed 3:00-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning July 19 and through out the school year. Play with children and assist with reading, homework and computer learning. | ||||||||
| Gifts in Kind | Games appropriate for Children K-6 (for the Haven) | |||||||
| The children would like the "Shrek" Operation game, Sudoko, Life, Go Fish (motorized game), Clue Jr., Apples to Apples, Pick Up Sticks, and Monopoly. Also, Lego Men for Lego Sets, Polly Pockets & Wooden Blocks. | ||||||||

| Indoor and outdoor recess type of items. Four square balls, jump ropes and basketballs are needed most. | ||||||||

| We are in need of special breakfast items - taquitos, bacon, sausage, waffles, and syrup, as well as juice and fresh fruit. | ||||||||

| New or gently used books are needed for Power Hour, which is held two mornings a month during Breakfast Club. Children (K-8) read and get to take a book home. | ||||||||

| Markers, glue sticks and drawing paper are needed throughout the year for the children to make art projects. New markers are the greatest need. | ||||||||

| The Middle School children would like Clue Jr., Pictionary, Scattergories, Nickolodeon Monopoly, Apples to Apples, Shrek Operation, Set (a card game), Suduko (board game), Master Mind & Kadoo. | ||||||||
| Gifts in Kind | Incentives Gifts for Children -- Power Peso Store Items | |||||||
| Incentive gifts for children kindergarten through 8th grade to reward academic learning and reading. Ideas include lotions, sports equipment, Axe body spray, Lego people, Geo Safari, and transformers. | ||||||||

| Donations needed to assist in funding field trips and camp scholarships during all day programming in the fall, spring and summer. | ||||||||

| Boxes of sweetened cold cereal are regularly needed. Popular choices include Rice Krispies, Life, Cinamon Toast Crunch, Kix, Fruit Loops & Honey Comb. | ||||||||
